Unfortunately, if you’re male, this article won’t mean much to you as it is about the writing magazine Mslexia. Its tag line is ‘For women who write’, so that should give you an idea why.
For the ladies out there who love to write, for pleasure, for money, for fun, for friends – for whatever reason – this magazine is bound to be a good read.

It has interviews with well known authors in almost every issue, from Jodie Picoult, to U A Fanthorpe and Margaret Atwood and also runs regular competitions for both published and unpublished writers in poetry and fiction.

There are tips on successful writing, by published writers themselves, and examples of authors’ drafting processes. There are competition winners, new poetry and prose, flash fiction and a comprehensive list of writing groups and events all over the country.

So, if you’re female and you enjoy both reading and writing, pick up a copy, check out the website or head to the library for back issues.

If you are a big fan of self improvment books I would highly recommend ‘ Change your life with NLP’ or if you have never read one before then this is a good place to start .This book teaches you how you can change your entire life, from your career, your health and fitness to your relationships.

From reading this book you will realise that it doesnt matter how your life as been so far, its this moment that counts. You can change your life in an instant  just by changing the way you think.  It teaches you using NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) techniques that were first developed in the 1970’s and are still used today. Many of us have dreams but most of us never pursue our dreams as were scared to get out of our comfort zone, this book shows us how we can go from an OK life to the one we always dreamt of. There are many excersices throughout the book to help you to understand were you are now and where you would like to be. Anyone can achieve anything if they put their mind to it.

This is an excellent book, that if followed really can make a difference to your life.

He teaches you how to feel happier and have more energy every day of your life. He can help you gain more success and make more money and live the life of your dreams.

If you read the book and really stick to what he says then you will definitely see a dramatic change in your life. You must listen to the cd everyday for a few weeks to really re programme your mind.

I enjoyed the book and listening to the cd, I didn’t keep up with it though. But I’m sure if you really do stick to what he says you will start living a better life.

This book by Lynda Field is very inspirational and uplifting. It’s full of positive ways to make your life better.  There is a 365 pages one for everyday of the year on every page is a way to improve your life.

The purpose of the book is to make you feel happy and change anything that is stressing you out. It shows you how you can enjoy every moment of every day no matter what your circumstances are.

The book lifts you up when you are feeling down and thinking that things won’t change. It tells you how you can stay in control of your life whilst staying cool and calm. How you can shape your own future feeling sexy and strong.

Lynda Field is one of Britain’s most popular life coaches her books are full of practical and upbeat advice, she shows you how you can make everyday count and make every moment a happy one starting straight away.

I really enjoyed reading this book some of the things she says really affect how you think and how you act .not all of the ideas will apply to you but even if you only get a few tips on how to change your way of thinking then it’s definitely worth it.

This book by Lynn Grabhorn is all about positive thinking and the law of attraction. She tells us how in her opinion we create everything that happens to us by the way we think, if you think negative all the time then you will get more negatives in your life. If you change the way you think and think positive then you create positive energies which attract positive things into your life.

Lynn tells us of the situations she’s faced in her life and how she was able to turn them around by practicing the law of attraction. She believes that if you really desire something in your life like money , love , a new job , a new car , anything at all really , if you think positive thoughts about it then it will find a way to come into your life. Just like the opposite, if you’re forever thinking about the lack of something e.g., I fed up of being poor , then you attract just that – more of being poor.

It’s a very inspiring book which gets you thinking about how you live your life . It’s easy to read and I loved the style of her writing. She’s very witty and has you laughing a lot. If you follow some of the advice she gives you will notice a difference in your life.
